Leadership


The Brigham and Women's Hospital and Harvard Medical School Division on Aging are the lead institutions for the Positive Aging Resource Center (PARC). Sue Levkoff, Sc.D., associate professor in psychiatry, Brigham and Women's Hospital, and associate professor, Department of Social Medicine, Harvard Medical School, serves as director of PARC. Gary Gottlieb, M.D., president of Brigham and Women's Hospital, and chairman of Partners Psychiatry; Maria Llorente, M.D., associate professor of psychiatry, University of Miami and Miami VA Veterans Hospital; and James Maxwell, Ph.D., director of health policy and management research at John Snow, Inc., serve as co-directors. Noelle Downing, MA is Director of Consumer Education. A Consumer Advisory Council provides guidance and feedback on all PARC activities. The council is chaired by Rosa Wims, L.P.N., PARC consumer representative.
